Silicone sleeve penile augmentation is a permanent surgical solution for increasing penile width and length. The procedure was designed specifically for aesthetic penile enhancement, and in the hands of an experienced surgeon it produces natural-looking results with a recovery most men describe as manageable.
Silicone sleeve implant is not an erectile dysfunction implant. It is an aesthetic enhancement performed to increase visible size, add a sense of fullness and weight, and improve patient confidence. The silicone sleeve is a flexible, medical-grade implant inserted beneath the skin of the penile shaft. It is sculpted and sized to match each patient’s anatomy, not fitted from a stock template. Dr. Heller works with the patient in consultation to decide on dimensions that produce a natural-looking result in proportion to the rest of the body.
Because the implant sits under the skin of the shaft, it adds both girth and, in many cases, visible length. Expected results in a single procedure are significant: for some patients, the average length gain from surgical enhancement overall is approximately 1.5 to 2 inches, with girth increases of 1 to 2 inches. Final gains depend on the patient’s starting anatomy and the implant sizing selected during consultation.
The implant is placed through a small incision localized at the base of the penis. A space is created beneath the skin to accommodate the full length and width of the sleeve. The implant encircles the shaft. Sutures close the incision. The procedure is performed under anesthesia in a private surgical setting.
Only specifically trained and authorized surgeons perform silicone sleeve procedures. This is not a treatment that should be sought from a generalist.

Recovery after silicone sleeve surgery is among the most manageable in surgical penile enhancement. Dr. Heller’s patients typically experience mild to moderate discomfort for several days, which is well controlled with standard pain management.
Most patients return to normal daily activities within 48 hours. Vigorous exercise and heavy physical activity should be avoided for approximately 10 days. Sexual activity can be resumed 3 to 4 weeks after the procedure, allowing full healing of the surgical site.
Swelling and bruising typically subside within the first one to two weeks. Small scars from the base-of-penis incision fade significantly over time and are discreetly located.

Candidates should have realistic expectations, understand the procedure is aesthetic rather than functional, and be comfortable with a permanent implant.
Patients whose primary concern is erectile dysfunction rather than size should discuss PRP therapy (the P-Shot) with Dr. Heller as a different path.
